The classical ballet, The Nutcracker, will capture your imagination and transport you to a magical new world. Whether you are seeing it again or for the first time, follow Clara on her journey with enchanting characters, breathtaking costumes and wonderful scenery, all to the beloved music by Tchaikovsky. Share the magic of the holidays all from the comfort of your home.

The 9th annual production of the Nutcracker is being presented as a live stream performance only. Despite the impact of COVID-19, Children’s Dance Theater is committed to keeping this holiday tradition in a safe environment for our patrons and our dancers. Thanks to technology you will be able to enjoy the splendor of this holiday ballet all from the comfort of your couch.

All links are device specific. If you need to watch on multiple devices, you’ll need to purchase multiple links. Single viewer is intended for one person watching on their phone for example. Household viewer is if a grouping of family or friends are watching from one device, for example your television.

Beware: If you share your access code to family and friends, you will lose access as only the device that most recently enters the code will be able to see the live stream.

In addition to the live stream, you can purchase a gift box from Herr Drosselmeyer himself. Drosselmeyer, is Clara’s beloved Godfather who is a toy maker and creates the most amazing toys. Inside each box contains items for an interactive performance that will help keep your dancer engaged and enchanted. Our moderator will discreetly  to cue your dancer on how to use the box contents.

Boxes are $25 and can be ordered at the same time as the live stream link. Order deadline is November 30th, 2020.
