Federal Way Symphony
Saturday, December 7
Join your friends and neighbors to celebrate a Federal Way tradition—the joyous performance of Handel’s “The Messiah” presented by the Federal Way Symphony and Federal Way Chorale. Come experience this powerful work culminating in the exultant “Hallelujah” chorus.
This holiday classic has been beloved from its premieres in Dublin and London to its current status nearly 300 years later as one of the most-performed choral works in Western Music. The Federal Way PAEC provides a world-class setting for this glorious oratorio with acoustics that have been favorably compared to some of the best metropolitan symphony halls in the country.
The Federal Way Symphony, Federal Way Chorale and soloists Jordan Lorealis Wright, Soprano; Rachelle Moss, Contralto; Michael Nim, Tenor; and Darrell J. Jordan, Baritone will provide an uplifting afternoon of music. After the concert, the audience is invited to continue the celebration—processing down the city’s brand-new grand staircase to the official tree-lighting ceremony at Town Square Park accompanied by holiday songs and music.
