Arts Foundation Federal Way advances and enriches the arts to help build a creative, inclusive, and equitable community. The organization works to keep the arts visible and valued in public life, expand access to meaningful arts experiences for residents of all ages, and supports this mission through advocacy, networking, organizing, and fundraising. It brings together community members, champions the importance of the arts with public leaders, connects students to performances and learning opportunities, and raises funds that make high quality arts experiences possible for youth.

Originally formed as the Federal Way Coalition of the Performing Arts, the organization was created to help secure funding for construction of the Performing Arts & Event Center (PAEC). After the PAEC was built, it transitioned in 2017 to a broader role and became Arts Foundation Federal Way. Today, the Foundation supports ongoing programs at the PAEC and helps strengthen Federal Way’s identity as a dynamic regional destination for arts, culture, and arts education.
